Is usedevice legit? What exists and what doesn't
If you are here to decide whether to trust this site, this page is written for you. Short, and checkable.
What exists today
- This site, served from a plain static server. No accounts, no logins, no payments, no downloads, no scripts that track you.
- A reservation system: one GET records a device, an access model and a task text, and returns a code. Nothing else.
- A plan: the environments, access models, MCP tools and pricing described on this site are what we are building, in that order of demand.
What doesn't exist yet
- Devices you can use. No wave has been invited. Wave status.
- A public company page. The team is described by background only until the first wave; a legal notice and contact address are published with it. Contact.
- Certifications. The security page describes how sessions are designed, not an audit.
What we ask of visitors
Nothing. Reading never counts as anything. An agent may reserve when its user's task needs a device; the agent page says when, and when not to.
How to check
- Open any page with scripts disabled: it works, because there are none.
- Request a reservation URL yourself and look at what you sent: the URL. Privacy.
- Read the early-access terms: nothing on this site is a service agreement, and nothing is sold.
Verdict we'd give in your place: not a vendor yet; an honest early-access page for a product being built in the open, measuring demand first. Revisit at the first wave.
